We’re hiring: Technical Consultant – Clamp Connectors Expert (Oil & Gas sector)
At The Key Talent, we are partnering with a leading industrial company to find a seasoned professional with solid experience in the development of clamp connectors for the Oil & Gas sector.
This is not a hands-on engineering role. We are looking for a technical consultant who has successfully led similar developments and can transfer knowledge to guide the client’s internal team in building a new product catalog.
What’s the challenge?
Act as a remote freelance advisor to the technical team, contributing your expertise across key areas such as design, certification, production, and inspection, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key requirements:
Proven experience developing clamp connectors for Oil & Gas (design, certification, production, inspection).
Knowledge of Saudi Arabian standards (Aramco – SAMSS).
Ideally, experience with North Sea regulations (Equinor).
Understanding of the supply chain for key components (bolts, gaskets, etc.).
Market knowledge: common materials and critical applications for clamp systems.
Fluent English (spoken and written).
Willingness to travel occasionally (to client sites or other locations).
