Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a dynamic, responsible and proactive individual to join KPMG's Finance Department.

You must have...
- Degree in Accounting;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
- Knowledge of SAP (preferred);
- Fluency in English;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines;
- Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and in a team environment;
- Analytical skills, leadership ability and a proactive mindset;
- Proactivity and technological curiosity, with the ability to propose improvements and adopt new solutions.
Key responsabilities
Supplier Management (Accounts Payable)
- Oversee the full accounts payable cycle (invoice-to-pay);
- Ensure the accurate recording of supplier invoices in compliance with accounting standards;
- Perform regular reconciliation of supplier accounts;
- Monitor and optimize payment terms and cash flow.
Procurement & Sourcing
- Manage sourcing processes and negotiate with strategic suppliers;
- Ensure the efficient procurement of goods and services, focusing on cost, quality, and delivery time;
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance;
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and continuous improvement.
Control and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, audits, and tax regulations;
- Implement robust internal controls within the procurement function;
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
Reporting and Analysis
- Produce financial and operational reports related to suppliers and procurement;
- Analyze KPIs;
- Support the monthly and annual accounting closing processes;
- Contribute to cost forecasting and budget control.
